TODData is a resevoir of information about the revolutionary albums and inspirational ideas of musician and visionary Todd Rundgren. Todd began his career as a commercial recording artist in the late-1960s spawning the hits We Gotta Get You A Woman, I Saw the Light, Hello It's Me, Can We Still Be Friends, and Bang on the Drum All Day. Not content with pop stardom, he veered into uncharted creative territories while simultaneously producing his own band, Utopia, as well as others. His trademark sound is evident on albums by Hall & Oates, Grand Funk, Patti Smith, XTC, the Tubes, and the seminal Bat Out of Hell for Meat Loaf. The Spark of LifeTODData began as a short series biography by Ruth Rundgren (Todd's mom) and illustrator/writer Bill Bricker back in the late-1980s with the goal of harvesting the largest database of fan's names and addresses. Later, it morphed into an information well of collected thoughts, and emerged as a focal point for fan-interactive projects. TODData has run campaigns of increasing scope to perpetuate Todd's ideas. It started small with posters and record collection auctions. Then it grew. 40 Years of Todd in Rolling Stone
